If you are interested in Wholesale wreaths and evergreens, please be advised that we ship our products via Fed EX or LTL. We can supply a freight quote upon request.
Our Wholesale trees are sold F.O.B. (Freight on Board) at our tree farms here in Washington. Please arrange your own trucking or we can assist. Often rates are as low as Oregon since our farm is located close to Seattle which has an abundance of trucks.
Over the road semi-trucks hold 750 to 800 trees. A 53ft by 102 inch high van holds more (i.e. 850 +). A 40ft refer van only holds 400 to 500 trees or units. We have farm trucks available, sometimes to haul 100 to 300 trees within 70 miles. In order to preserve freshness we prefer that you use dry-vans for 2-3 day shipments and refer vans for longer shipments. Refer temperatures for ocean containers or trucks should be set at 38 degrees F. and the condensate returned to the floor for more humidity.
Pooling partial orders on semi-trucks can sometimes be done when logistics and delivery dates can be aligned. These are also called LTL or less than a truck load. They usually cost a little more per unit and each customer’s share is pro-rated based upon the space used in the truck. Our customers pay the freight companies COD separately from our invoice. Ocean containers are usually prepaid by the customer, but we can arrange and invoice for local shuttle or cartage fees. If you have any questions, please call Greg.
